The truck is finished in Bali Blue (P) and features a diamond-plate rear step bumper, cab lights, bed tie-downs, Western-style mirrors, and an electric winch at the front. Exterior grab handles have been added to the B-pillars, and a storage compartment is located along the right side of the bed. The paint and pinstriping are faded and worn, and additional flaws include chips on the left side of the windshield as well as dings and rust on various body panels. Areas of the truck were sprayed in primer by the selling dealer, and photos showing the condition of these areas prior to the bodywork are presented at the end of the gallery below.
The selling dealer installed 16×7″ wheels in preparation for the sale along with 255/85 Falken Wildpeak M/T MT01 tires showing 2022 date codes. Rancho RS5000 shocks also were added by the selling dealer, and the truck is equipped with power steering and front disc brakes. Work in 2021 consisted of replacing the power steering belt and brake vacuum hose, repairing the brake master cylinder, and flushing the brake fluid.
The interior features a Ranger bench seat with blue vinyl upholstery, and the fuel tank in the cab has been replaced. Interior equipment includes Pioneer speakers behind the seat, rubber floor mats, a gun rack, and a sliding rear window. The aftermarket cassette stereo is inoperative, the windshield wipers only work at low speed, and the doors do not lock with the key. The door strikers, headlight switch, and ignition switch and keys were replaced in 2021. The gun pictured above is not included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel is cracked, and the horn does not function. Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, engine temperature, and alternator charging status. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
A replacement 360ci V8 reportedly sourced from a 1969 model was installed under previous ownership. The engine is topped with a two-barrel Motorcraft carburetor that was rebuilt by AutoLine Products Ltd. in Winnipeg, Canada. Work performed under previous ownership included refurbishing the rear fuel tank, resealing the oil pan and front of the engine, and replacing the following components:
Corrosion is visible in the engine bay, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel-drive system with a divorced dual-range transfer case and a Dana 60 rear axle with 4:10:1 gearing. Oil residue is present on the underside, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.
