Slotted 15″ steel wheels with chrome hubcaps are mounted with 235/75 Firestone Winterforce tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, 2″ extended shackles, and correction shims on the front axle. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The seller states that a power steering pump sourced from a Toyota mini-truck is fitted and that the shocks were replaced in 2022.
The cabin is said to have been refurbished in 2003 and features front and rear bench seats reupholstered in black vinyl along with a matching black dash pad, door panels, and rubber floor covers. Additional interior work at that time reportedly included repainting interior surfaces and replacing the window felt, door seals, tailgate window seal, tailgate window gear, defroster hoses, and a windshield gasket. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 26k miles, approximately 700 of which have been added under current ownership. The odometer is reported to have rolled over once, and the speedometer cable has been replaced. Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor that was rebuilt in 2022 and a gear-reduction starter, according to the seller. Additional work performed under current ownership is said to include adjusting the valves and replacing the spark plugs and wires, fuel pump, and air filter as well as an oil change. The seller notes an oil drip from the rear main seal.
