Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 205/55 and 225/50 BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp tires in 2020. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. Service since the seller’s acquisition has included rebuilding the brake calipers.
The cockpit is upholstered in black leather and features bolstered seats, air conditioning, a cassette stereo, electric windows, and a gated dogleg shifter. Service during the seller’s ownership has included replacing the ignition switch, removing the seatbelt buzzer, repairing the dashboard electrics, and having keys made for the ignition, doors, and center console glove box. The dash clock does not work, and the zipper for the rear storage compartment is broken.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 280-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 61k kilometers (~38k miles) approximately 11k kilometers of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.9-liter F106 quad-cam V8 was equipped with a dry-sump lubrication system for the European market and made approximately 250 horsepower when new. Service in September 2020 included rebuilding the water pump and replacing the timing belts, belt tensioners, coolant expansion tank, and fuel filter. The compressor was rebuilt and the hoses and evaporator canister were replaced in 2021. The system was recharged with R12 refrigerant. One of the fuse boxes was also replaced in 2021. The seller notes that an oil change was performed in May 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The shift shaft seal needs to be replaced.
A factory tool kit and jack are included in the sale.
