The 308 GTB was introduced at the 1975 Paris Motor Show and featured Pininfarina-styled bodywork. This example is finished in black and was reportedly repainted in 2006, at which time the side marker lights were deleted and fiberglass Euro-style bumpers were added. Additional equipment includes pop-up headlights, a driver-side mirror, louvered rear quarter windows, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. The removed stock bumpers accompany the vehicle.

Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE01R tires that measure 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. The CV joints were reportedly repacked and the boots replaced in 2021.
The cockpit features bolstered seats that are trimmed in black and have been reupholstered in a 328-style pattern. Equipment includes a Jensen CD stereo, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The air conditioning system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant per the seller. The leather trunk boot cover has been replaced.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. Digital gauges for fuel pressure and boost level have been added to the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four twin-choke Weber 40DCNF carburetors, a Powerdyne belt-driven supercharger, and Pertronix electronic ignition. According to the seller, the engine was rebuilt, balanced, and fitted with JE pistons and Manley stainless steel valves in 2006 at 59k miles. The supercharger was rebuilt and the timing belts replaced in 2021, and another belt service was performed in preparation for the sale in April 2023. Cylinder leakdown test results taken at that time are viewable in the gallery along with images from the work. The smog equipment has been removed, and components accompany the vehicle.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Borla exhaust system has been added, and the removed stock system is included in the sale.
