Two-piece 18″ CCW wheels with silver-finished centers and polished lips wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by red Brembo calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. Modifications include Bilstein shocks, Weltmeister tubular torsion bars, braided brake lines, and a front strut tower brace. A set of factory Fuchs wheels and a set of Michelin tires are included in the sale.
The cabin features sport seats upholstered in black leatherette along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Features include air conditioning and an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo. The dashboard was recovered in 2011. The seller notes that the automatic heater temperature control does not work.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline and an inset boost gauge as well as a 150-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and an analog clock. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 93k miles, 1k of which were added by the seller, who notes that the steering wheel cover is worn and requires restitching.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was refurbished in 2011 by BTM Motorworks of Campbell, California which included replacing the pistons and cylinders, bearings, ARP studs, and valve guides as well as refurbishing the K-27 turbocharger. An Andial fuel enrichment system and a Kokeln Racing intercooler have been installed. Records from the refurbishment can be viewed in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential. The transaxle was refurbished in 2011 and the clutch was said to have been replaced. An aftermarket exhaust system has been installed.
