Here’s a well sorted 1979 FJ40 that is in excellent rust free condition. The truck drives great. Steering, Clutch, Brakes, 4-speed Transmission HI and LOW all work flawlessly and feel great. This truck was lightly restored about 15 years ago by Land Cruiser experts at JT Outfitters.
While at JT Outfitters and more recently, she’s received a new OEM clutch, tie rod ends, brakes, exhaust and was repainted her original color on the exterior only in PPG single stage Rustic Green (Code 621). New weatherstripping on all doors which open and close with ease!, Windows roll up with no effort. The floors under the carpet kit are shiny paint and free of rust.
Under the hood is the original 2F engine with factory emissions. The stock carburetor, distributor and exhaust. All original 4-speed transmission with 3.70 gears, OEM axles with a stock suspension and extended slightly shackles. Under it all you will find 30×19.50 BF Goodrich AT’s wrapped around correct and original steel 15″ wheels and hubcaps and Warn freewheeling hubs.
