Gray urethane bumper caps, counterbalanced gullwing doors, quadruple headlights, black side stripes and moldings, a louvered engine cover, a front spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets are other distinguishing features. Work between 2015 and 2016 included blending body panels and replacing the weatherstripping for the doors, windows, hood, and engine lid as well as the door handles, emblems, windshield cowl screen, engine cover grille, washer fluid pump, power antenna, and side marker lamps.
Staggered-diameter 14″ and 15″ turbine-style aluminum wheels are mounted with 195/60 Falken Ziex ZE-329 tires up front and 235/60 Futura GLS Super Sport tires out back. Stopping power is provided by ventilated disc brakes at each corner. The axle boots and tie rod ends were replaced in 2016 along with the primary brake cylinder, calipers, hoses, pads, and rear discs.
The high-back bucket seats were reupholstered in gray and black leather under previous ownership according to the seller, and the cabin features air conditioning, a Pioneer CD stereo, a rearview camera, a Kicker subwoofer, Infinity speakers, power-operated windows and mirrors, and a microfiber headliner. Work since 2015 included wiring repairs in addition to replacing the air-conditioning fan speed switch, dome light, trunk carpeting, shift lever, console trim pieces, floor mats, accelerator and brake pedals, and steering column bushings.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, less than 4k of which were added under current ownership.
Equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection and factory rated at 130 horsepower and 153 lb-ft of torque, the rear-mounted 2.85-liter V6 sends power to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Work since 2015 included relocating fuel lines and replacing the transmission governor computer in addition to the fuel pump, engine mounts, and other components documented in invoices from DMC of Huntington Beach, California, which are shown at the end of the gallery below.
