White-finished 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 235/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires that were installed in 2011. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and power steering, while the suspension is modified with an Old Man Emu suspension lift and steering stabilizer. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
Refurbishment work is said to include reupholstering the front bucket seats and inward-facing rear jump seats in gray vinyl as well as repainting body-color surfaces before applying color-matching bedliner material on the floors and cargo area. Additional work consisted of installing gray carpeting and replacing the door cards and window crank regulators, according to the seller. Equipment includes a Tuffy locking center console and rubber floor mats. The Nostalgic Air heater does not work and the radio has been removed.
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 119k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The odometer does not work, and total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a Man-A-Fre Weber carburetor conversion. Service completed in 2011 included replacing a vacuum hose, the cap and rotor, the valve cover gasket, spark plugs, and ignition wires as well as epoxying holes in the gas tank. The seller notes that smog equipment has been removed.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The clutch, throwout bearing, and rear main and front transmission seals were replaced in 2012 in addition to resurfacing the flywheel and servicing the transfer case.
