Metric 390mm Cromodora alloy wheels wear Michelin TRX tires. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in Crema leather along with matching door panels and a contrasting black dashboard. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The switches for the headlights and turn signals were repaired in 2020. Cracks in the leather on the driver-seat left-side bolster are shown in the gallery.
The three-spoke MOMO leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a replacement 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. An analog clock and an oil temperature gauge are mounted in the center console. The six-digit odometer shows 17k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and Magneti Marelli Digiplex electronic ignition. Factory-rated output was 240 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque in European specification. A major service in October 2020 included the replacement of the front crank seal, camshaft tensioner bearings, camshaft belts, alternator, water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses, and air conditioning compressor and dryer along with the fuel injectors, lines, pump, accumulator, and tank connector hoses.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with a tool kit.
