Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, fog lights, a sunroof, a headlight washer system, and rear fender guards. The seller notes blemishes on the rear driver’s-side window and rear wing.
Staggered-width 16″ forged Fuchs wheels are finished in satin black with anodized lips and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires showing 2015 date codes. Sport shocks were optioned when the car was new and were overhauled during the refurbishment, and a front strut-tower bar has been added. Braking is handled by vented discs at all four corners. A brake fluid flush was recently carried out.
The front seats were reupholstered in black leather and are joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a Porsche Classic short-throw shifter, power windows, an aftermarket pedal set, a replacement headliner, Lloyd’s floor mats, replacement speakers and grilles, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management stereo with navigation. The air conditioning system was recently serviced. The factory steering wheel, pedals, and shifter are included in the sale.
The 930S-style steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a central 7k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer indicates 71k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller. The clock is inoperable.
The numbers-matching 3.2-liter flat-six features Bosch Motronic fuel injection and was factory-rated at 207 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. In 2017, Porsche Classic Center overhauled the engine after finding a broken head stud. A Steve Wong ECU chip has been added, and an oil change was been recently carried out.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a matching Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle that was fitted with new seals during the refurbishment. An M&K catalytic converter delete pipe has been added, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
The Porsche Production Specifications certificate shows factory equipment, optional equipment, and a production completion date of April 18, 1984. Removed factory parts, owner’s manuals, and a binder of records from the refurbishment are included in the sale.
