The interior features beige leather covering the bucket seats, center console, and door cards, and in 2019 the matching carpets were replaced and Dynamat insulation was also installed throughout the interior. The air-conditioning system and window motors were all upgraded and a Sony CD stereo and cruise-control system were fitted, and the air-conditioning system was repaired and recharged in 2020.
Upgraded lighting was installed in the Veglia instrumentation, and gauges include a 180-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer. The six-digit odometer shows just under 113k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.
During the refurbishment the engine was modified by Newman Automotive R&D of Ontario, Canada, which included the following:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. A timing belt service was most recently replaced in 2016, with seals, gaskets, ignition components, and fluids replaced at the same time. The throttle pedal and shifter assemblies were rebuilt and the clutch cable was replaced in 2019, and during current ownership a coolant leak was repaired, an oil change was performed, and the Haltech fuel-injection system was recalibrated.
