The suspension was modified under the seller’s ownership with QA1 adjustable shocks and Eibach coilovers along with a lowered ride height. The brake system is said to have been overhauled with Porterfield R4S brake pads, braided stainless-steel lines, and an upgraded servo.
The cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in tan Connolly leather along with a matching center console and door cards. Features include a Kenwood stereo with a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, a serial USB interface for the onboard data logger, and Hill Engineering aluminum pedals and a quick-shift gate. Three sets of floor mats are included in the sale along with a European-market reflective safety triangle.
A Momo steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. An Innovate Motorsports air/fuel ratio gauge and an AutoMeter boost gauge are mounted on the A-pillar. The six-digit odometer shows 42k miles, 15k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 2.9-liter Type F105 V8 features four valves per cylinder. A supercharger was fitted during the seller’s ownership, along with a capacitive-discharge two-channel multi-spark ignition system with a boost retard function, and a lateral oil sump baffle system. The timing belts and tensioner bearings are said to have been replaced along with the valve cover gaskets, a Birdman fuse block, and cooling system components. A May 2021 service included the installation of new spark plugs, wires, extenders, and distributor rotors. The seller states the car will not pass California emissions without the removal of the supercharger head, an engine de-tuning, and the reattachment of the catalytic converters.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. A 2.5″ exhaust system with a Flowmaster dual-chamber muffler and factory-style quad exhaust tips was fitted under current ownership, and the removed factory exhaust system components are included in the sale.
