Polished 16×7″ Fuchs alloy wheels have black accents and are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires that are said to have been recently installed. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The brake rotors and pads were replaced in 2016, and green Bilstein shocks are fitted out back.
The cabin features front buckets and rear individual seats upholstered in black leather along with matching door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, a Wizbang Eclipse CD stereo and equalizer, and the driver’s seat is equipped with powered height adjustments. The front seats are said to have been reupholstered by Autos International. The air conditioning was reportedly recharged in preparation for the sale. The cruise control cable is broken.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 160k miles, approximately 250 of which were added since the drivetrain overhaul and under current ownership.
The 3.4-liter M930/25 flat-six is said to have been overhauled under current ownership by Supertec Performance of Fallbrook, California. Work is said to have included installing 98mm CP X-Brace pistons, Millennium plated cylinders, 964-specification camshafts, a 964-specification oil pump, ARP rod bolts, dry film-coated bearings, Wrightwood Racing gaskets, Viton seals, and Supertec cylinder head studs as well as refurbishing the cylinder heads, connecting rods, and distributor. A valve job was reportedly performed with replacement of the springs and guides. The timing chains, ramps, and guides were reportedly replaced, along with the battery and oil and fuel lines.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle that was reportedly overhauled by Supertec Performance, and shift bushings and clutch components have also been replaced. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in June 2022.
