Staggered-width 17″ aluminum wheels wear 275/40 front and 315/35 rear Goodyear Eagle ZR tires. The ZR1 was equipped with three-mode adjustable suspension, which was designed in consultation with Lotus and featured Bilstein shock absorbers. Braking is handled by anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners.
The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in Saddle leather with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include power windows, locks, and mirrors as well as automatic climate control, cruise control, and a factory Delco Bose Gold Series sound system with CD and cassette players. A knob on the center console controls the three-mode adjustable suspension.
Instrumentation consists of a digital speedometer and fuel level display, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and analog gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 400 miles.
The all-aluminum LT5 5.7-liter DOHC V8 was co-designed by GM and Lotus and built by Mercury Marine. Output was rated at 375 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque when new. The selling dealer states fluid changes were performed and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Lujack Schierbrock Chevrolet Co. of Davenport, Iowa, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total vehicle price of $60,650. Manufacturer’s literature and accessories are also included in the sale along with two sets of keys.
