The truck was disassembled, stripped, and refinished in Rubellite Red by Expedition Motor Company. Equipment includes a removable black soft top with roll-up plastic windows, a receiver hitch, black wheel arch extensions, a fold-down windshield, and an air intake snorkel along with LED headlights and taillights.
Black 16″ steel wheels with red and blue pinstripes are mounted with 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 white-letter tires. A full-size spare and a carrier for a jerry can are mounted at the rear. The truck is equipped with Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs, and stopping power is provided by disc brakes with red-painted calipers up front and drums out back.
The cabin features front and rear bucket seats retrimmed in brown vinyl with tan stitching, and matching upholstery accents the door panels. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a VDO stereo with a hide-away antenna, a roll bar, and a wood-lined rear floor. The driver’s seat inner bolster is torn.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of a 180-km/h speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level and coolant temperature. An analog clock is mounted in the center stack, and the five-digit odometer shows 5,700 kilometers (~3,500 miles). Total mileage is unknown. The steering wheel badge shows wear.
The naturally aspirated 2.5-liter OM602 diesel inline-five sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with a low gear, a two-speed transfer case, and front and rear locking differentials. A body-color shovel is mounted in the engine bay. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
A skid plate is fitted up front, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
