The car is finished in Diamond Black Pearl and equipped with GTZ-specific bodywork, including a front spoiler, a louvered air intake, a rear valance, vented fenders, and a rear wing. GTZ decals were reapplied following bodywork in 2023 that included removing dents and refinishing the front bumper cover, front and rear valances, rear quarter panels, and rear wing. Additional work in preparation for the sale included replacing the corner and fog light lenses along with applying a ceramic coating to the car. Removable glass roof panels, fog lights, a power antenna, a rear wiper, and dual exhaust outlets are also equipped. The seller notes that the front bumper cover is misaligned and the power antenna is not hooked up. Blemishes include a dent on the left rear quarter panel and dents around the car as well as fading on the window molding.
GTZ-specific three-spoke 17″ billet aluminum wheels have been powder-coated black metallic and are mounted with 235/45 front and 275/40 rear Toyo Proxes R888r tires that show production codes from 2021. The car is equipped with Brembo front brake calipers, cross-drilled and vented rotors, and brake pads as well as stainless steel brake lines, progressive-rate springs, adjustable sway bars, a Stillen rear shock tower brace, and Koni adjustable front struts and rear shocks that were fitted in 2022. The steering rack bushings were also replaced in 2022.
Charcoal leather trims the bucket seats, and the power-adjustable driver’s seat is equipped with a Simpson five-point harness. Additional appointments include aluminum pedals, a short-throw shifter, embroidered floor mats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and power windows and locks as well as a Kenwood Bluetooth receiver, a JL Audio amplifier, a subwoofer, and aftermarket speakers. A Greddy boost controller is housed in the center console alongside an Alpine phone, and an HKS turbo timer is mounted underneath the dashboard. The seller notes a kill switch has been installed. There is a tear on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat and wear in the carpet near the left door jamb. The Bose head unit and the HKS boost controller and gauges located in the glovebox do not work.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, boost pressure, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 107k miles, approximately 100k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter VG30DETT V6 was EPROM-tuned in 2022 by Z Car Garage of San Jose, California, and fitted with Nismo 740cc fuel injectors and a Greddy boost controller as well as a replacement exhaust system, oxygen sensors, fuel hoses and filter, intake hoses, and gaskets for the valve cover, plenum, and exhaust gas recirculation valve. Videos and photos of the Dynojet results from January 2022 can be viewed below. The timing belt, camshaft pulley, and battery were replaced in 2019. See the Z Car Garage report on their work on the car here on their site.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional underside photos are shown in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage from its first entry in 1994 and lists registration history in California and Arizona. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in March 2023.
