The body was removed from the frame and repainted in green as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. The truck features a tan soft top, a Safety Devices roll cage, driving lights, LED indicators, black wheel arch flares, a front bash plate, and a tubular rear bumper and side steps. The windshield wiper stalk was replaced in September 2020.
Black-finished 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, and a full-size spare is mounted to a swing-away rear carrier. The truck is equipped with hydraulic power steering as well as a Terrafirma adjustable steering linkage and a 1.5″ suspension lift. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The cabin was refreshed as part of the build and features front bucket seats and inward-facing rear benches trimmed in quilted tan leatherette accompanied by a matching padded dashboard, center armrest, and door panels. A Pioneer head unit is connected to JBL speakers, and additional appointments include air conditioning, a lockable cubby box, seat extender rails, and Land Rover Defender-branded rubber floor mats.
A two-spoke steering wheel fronts Legacy Overland-branded instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges as well as a dash-mounted clock. The replacement digital odometer indicates 2,500 miles, which are said to represent the distance driven since completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four sends power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, which were rebuilt at the time of the refurbishment. The transfer case shift linkage was adjusted and the front differential seal as well as the fuel filter, air filter, and engine oil were changed in September 2020.
The frame was galvanized and powder coated along with various underbody components as part of the build. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
