The M20 inline-six was reportedly assembled by Alpina in Germany and shipped to the UK where it was installed in the car. It has been increased in displacement to 2.7 liters and is equipped with a revised aluminum cylinder head, Mahle pistons, an Alpina camshaft, an exhaust header, and an aftermarket airbox. A replacement battery was fitted and the drive belts were replaced in July 2022, per the seller.
