The right-hand-drive cabin features front sport seats and a contoured rear bench upholstered in gray leather. BMW-branded floor mats line the footwells, and amenities include a wooden Alpina shift knob, power windows, a wind deflector, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer CD stereo. The car is equipped with an anti-theft system, and the seller states that the brake light warning intermittently illuminates.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames Alpina-branded instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 90k miles.
A plaque mounted ahead of the shifter designates this C2 as serial number 049301.
The M20 inline-six was reportedly assembled by Alpina in Germany and shipped to the UK where it was installed in the car. It has been increased in displacement to 2.7 liters and is equipped with a revised aluminum cylinder head, Mahle pistons, an Alpina camshaft, an exhaust header, and an aftermarket airbox. A replacement battery was fitted and the drive belts were replaced in July 2022, per the seller.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
