Five-spoke 18″ OZ Racing wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. Suspension modifications include upgraded trailing arms and stiffer front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power comes from discs at all four corners with four-piston Callaway/Brembo calipers and cross-drilled rotors up front. The brake fluid was flushed in March 2022.
The cabin features seats trimmed in white leather with red and green stripes. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power-adjustable seats, a blue shift knob, and a Bose-Delco CD stereo. A Callaway SuperNatural plaque is affixed to the center console. The air conditioning was reportedly serviced in March 2022.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just under 1,200 miles, fewer than 50 of which were added by the seller. The Carfax report shows an odometer reading of 2,500 in July 1997, and total mileage is unknown.
The LT1-based Callaway SuperNatural V8 was bored and stroked to 383ci by Callaway and factory rated at 404 horsepower. Additional modifications included the following:
A service at Callaway Cars in March 2022 is said to have included replacing the alternator, battery, fluids, spark plugs, thermostat, O2 sensor, and head gaskets. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
According to the seller, the car was Callaway’s first C8 Camaro and was featured in Motor Trend, the 1993 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 1994 Chicago Auto Show, the 1994 Charlotte Motor Speedway Auto Fair, SEMA 1994, and OZ Racing wheels print ads.
