Originally Ardennes Green, the body was refinished in green during the refurbishment completed in the Netherlands in 2018. Modifications and equipment include a fabricated steel front bumper with a Smittybilt winch, a full-length roof rack, step bars, LED marker and brake lights, a rear LED light bar, body-color wheel arch flares, and black checker plating on the top of the hood and front fenders. Rust is visible in the door hinges.
Black-finished 16″ Land Rover wheels are wrapped in 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the suspension system features coil springs at all four corners, a rear anti-sway bar, and an Old Man Emu lift kit and steering stabilizer.
The cabin features heated front bucket seats upholstered in dark gray, three-across rear bucket seats with Exmoor seat covers, and black rubber floor coverings. The air conditioning was repaired in 2021, and modifications include power windows, power locks, a center console with a locking lower compartment, a storage area in the cargo area, and a Boss Audio Systems touchscreen stereo with a backup camera and Bluetooth connectivity. An ARB air compressor is mounted below the driver’s seat, and air hose connections are mounted under the front passenger seat and in the rear-mounted toolbox. The front and rear dome lights have been modified with red and white light options. A seat and a wire separator for the cargo area are included in the sale.
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and battery charge. The six-digit odometer shows 230k miles, approximately 1,800 of which were added by the seller since 2021. The headlights are operated via a rocker switch mounted atop the center stack, and a fuel-pump cut-off switch has been retrofitted into the factory headlight switch.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was removed and rebuilt during the refurbishment completed in 2018. Equipment includes an oversized air intake, blue silicone hoses, and a replacement radiator. A Westin T-MAX dual-battery system is fitted, and jumper cable connection ports are mounted at the front and the rear. Fluids were serviced and leaks were addressed at the power steering seals, rear main seal, oil pan, and valve cover gaskets under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The exhaust has been remounted and transfer case leaks have been repaired under current ownership.
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate lists factory colors and identification numbers and shows a build date of July 6, 1993. Import documents from 2018 can be seen in the February 2021 BaT listing along with refurbishment records from prior ownership.
