Silver-finished 17″ Cup 1 wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 255/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that show date codes from 2019. Braking is handled by black Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The factory M030 sport suspension features a larger-diameter front stabilizer bar and upgraded shock absorbers shared with the 911 Turbo. The brake fluid was flushed in 2021.
The cabin features power height-adjustable front sport seats trimmed in black cloth along with a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The car was optioned without an air conditioning system, and amenities include an AM/FM cassette stereo, power windows, and red seat belts and door-pull straps. RS Americas were also equipped with a luggage shelf and enclosed storage compartments in place of the rear seats. Work performed in 2021 involved repairing the stereo and replacement of the front speakers.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 180-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows less than 10k miles, approximately 150 of which were added during current ownership.
The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle equipped with an optional limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Brumos Motor Cars, Inc. and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $56,458.
