The 17″ aluminum Cup I wheels wear a mixture of Riken and BFGoodrich tires that need to be replaced due to old age. The car is equipped with force-sensitive power steering and four-wheel vented disc brakes. The front brake pads were reportedly replaced in 2015.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats as well as two rear bucket seats upholstered in gray leather . Additional appointments include driver-seat position memory, an alarm system, automatic climate control with rear-seat vents, a factory CD stereo, and cruise control. Black carpeted floor mats embroidered with red “Porsche” script are included in the sale and carpet stains can be seen in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 93k miles, approximately 65k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features LH-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 345 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller states that the timing belt, tensioner, and roller were replaced in 2009, the air conditioning system was serviced in 2017, and the battery was replaced in 2021. The insulation on the air intake tubing is cracked.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle and a variable limited-slip differential. Corrosion on the underside components is shown in the gallery.
