The Pininfarina-designed body was delivered new in Nero and styling incorporates a black convertible soft top as well as pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, a ventilated engine cover, and quad exhaust outlets. Replacement windshield wipers were fitted, and work carried out in preparation for the sale included replacing the soft top elastic tethers and frame straps in addition to flushing the hydraulic system and lubricating the frame joints. Blemishes are visible on the body, close-up photos of which are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings.
The 18″ five-spoke wheels were refinished in 2022 and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires measuring 225/40 up front and 265/40 at the rear. Ferrari-branded painted brake calipers are mounted over vented discs at each corner, and the brake fluid was flushed in September 2022.
The cabin features sport seats trimmed in tan Connolly leather, which extends to the center console, lower dash, and door panel inserts. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, and an Alpine cassette stereo. The sticky buttons were reportedly refinished, the air conditioning system refrigerant was recharged, and the throttle pedal and parking-brake lever mechanisms were cleaned in September 2022. A boot cover is included in the sale, and scratches are visible on the left door jamb.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 17k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service in September 2022 included replacing the timing belts, tensioner pulleys, associated seals and gaskets, drive belts, hoses, decklid struts, battery, water-pump bearing shaft, spark plugs, filters, and fluids. The cylinder heads were rebuilt and resurfaced at this time, the valve guides were replaced, and the valve covers were stripped and refinished the current shade of red. The car passed an emissions inspection in September 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
Ferrari-branded interior covers, a tote, manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, a battery tender, a fire extinguisher, and two keys are included in the sale.
Photos toward the end of the gallery present various stages of the recent engine-out service along with an associated receipts totaling approximately $32k.
