The paint on the front bumper cover does not match the rest of the car, and exterior blemishes include cracks and paint chips on the front bumper cover, scratches on both quarter panels, and imperfections on the rear bumper cover. Under current ownership, the clear stone guard film and center brake light housing were replaced. Records provided in the gallery note that the windshield and rear window glass and seal need to be changed.
Silver-finished 17″ Cup II wheels with colored Porsche-crest center caps are wrapped in 205/50 front and 255/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were mounted in October 2022. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by silver-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The car’s optional M030 sport suspension was fitted with European-style shocks and springs under current ownership, and additional suspension and braking components replaced during the seller’s tenure include:
The interior is trimmed in Classic Grey leather and features contrasting Midnight Blue carpets. Amenities include power-adjustable front sport seats with hard seat backs in addition to air conditioning, cruise control, a Becker AM/FM/cassette stereo with a remote six-disc CD changer, and an extended center console, which houses a Porsche-branded cell phone. The blower fan was serviced and the glovebox light switch, center console cup, power window switches, and cabin air filters were replaced under current ownership. Wear is present on the driver’s seat outer bolster.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership. The steering column switch was replaced in 2020.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. A service was completed by Precision Motorsports Racing in Long Valley, New Jersey, in October 2020 and involved the replacement of the air filter, fuel filter, and air conditioning compressor nut. Additional work completed under current ownership included changing the distributor cap and rotor along with the spark plugs, ignition wires, battery, serpentine belts, and left upper and lower valve covers.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Work in August 2021 consisted of changing the fluids for the front differential and transaxle as well as replacing the clutch assembly, transmission shift rod, and joint end.
Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information:
