Ceramic-coated 18″ Turbo Twist wheels were recently refinished and wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2018 date codes. The suspension has been fitted with Bilstein shocks and is said to feature Chris Walrod front control arm bushings. A brake fluid flush was performed in 2021.
The cabin features factory-optioned racing-style hardback front sport seats trimmed in black leather with a matching dashboard and carpeting. Additional equipment includes aluminum pedal covers, cruise control, automatic climate control, a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood stereo, and a Fister short shift kit including an FD Motorsports Golden Rod lever. The climate control unit and sunroof sliders were reportedly replaced under prior ownership. Wear is noted on the left-side driver’s seat bolster.
The replacement leather-wrapped 996-specification steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows approximately 57k miles.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 282 horsepower, which is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The breather plate gasket, thermostat housing O-ring, and intake manifold sleeve were replaced in September 2018. An oil service was performed in preparation for the sale, and a September 2021 inspection report can be viewed in the gallery.
The car was equipped from the factory with the Motor Sound Package, and the exhaust system has been modified with a Fabspeed pre-muffler cat bypass pipe and Fister Stage II mufflers. RS-specification engine mounts and transmission mounts were reportedly installed under prior ownership. Additional underside photos are included in the gallery.
The window sticker shows factory colors and equipment, initial delivery to Momentum Porsche of Houston, Texas, and a total price of $77,515.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with service records dating back to 2005, two remote key fobs, and the removed stock catalytic converter.
