Japan-specification models were equipped with a roll cage from the factory, and this example features aluminum body panels finished in Alpine White with black wheel arch flares. Additional features include side step bars, alpine windows, and a receiver hitch.
The 16″ five-spoke wheels are fitted with Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires, and the rear-mounted spare is wrapped in a General Grabber TR tire. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. Work in November 2022 reportedly included replacing the front shocks and the sway bar links and bushings.
The front bucket seats are upholstered in gray patterned cloth and are complemented by a gray dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include air conditioning, an aftermarket stereo, and power windows.
The cargo area features four inward-facing jump seats trimmed in patterned cloth.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-km/h speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 21k kilometers (~13k miles).
The 4.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque. Work in November 2022 is said to have included an oil change and replacing the front crankshaft seal, drive belt, and tensioner assembly.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel-drive system with a dual-range transfer case. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
