Silver 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 out back. The 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension, and this example is equipped with the M030 sport suspension package. Braking is handled by red-painted Porsche calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The front pads and rotors were replaced in November 2022 and work performed in April 2023 included replacing the rear brake pads and rotors in addition to the brake lines and hoses.
The cabin houses power-adjustable and heated front seats trimmed in gray leather, while Exclusive carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments consist of cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, a leather headliner and sun visors, illuminated visor mirrors, footwell lighting, stainless-steel sill plates, a Nokia carphone, and a Becker-Porsche CD stereo. The upper portion of the rear seats fold down to create a parcel shelf.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a suite of white-dial VDO instrumentation including a 300-km/h speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 149k kilometers (~93k miles), approximately 200 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The air-cooled M64 flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and received an increased displacement of 3.8-liters as part of the X51 power package with a factory-rated output of 296 horsepower. The car has been fitted with TechArt mufflers. The engine was overhauled in November 2022 and work included replacing the seals as well as the belts, fluids, filters, and the spark plugs. The battery, distributor, and distributor cap and rotor were replaced in April 2023.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. The clutch was replaced in November 2022. Scrapes are visible on the underbody, and additional photos are provided in the gallery below.
