Description
The 993 C2S featured wider bodywork, a split rear grille, and revised bumper covers and side skirts in comparison with the contemporary Carrera. This example was ordered in Guards Red and was refinished in 2016, the process for which is described at the end of the gallery. Additional details include the Aerokit Turbo II front and rear spoilers as well as headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets.

Additional details include the Aerokit Turbo II front and rear spoilers as well as headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 18″ Technology wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. A spare is located in the front trunk. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a Porsche CDR-210 stereo, the HiFi Sounds Package, an onboard computer, cruise control, carpeted floor mats, and air conditioning.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames red-dial VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 16k of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. Corrosion is visible on various exhaust components, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists a production completion date of September 18, 1997, along with optional equipment, colors, and identification numbers.
