The cabin features seats upholstered in Metropol Blue leather along with matching leather on the door panels and dashboard. The optional Dark Wood interior package specified wood trim on the dash, door panels, console, shift knob, e-brake lever, and steering wheel. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, embroidered floor mats, power windows, driver’s seat power lumbar support, and an infotainment system with DVD-based navigation.
Instrumentation consists of a central tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Modifications in 2006 consisted of an Innovative Pro Design intake plenum, a 996 TT medium-sound exhaust system, a Revo Stage 2 software update, and a B&M short shifter. Garrett GT28 turbochargers with wastegate controllers were installed in October 2013, and the results of a subsequent dynamometer test are presented in the gallery. Maintenance in May 2021 consisted of an oil change and cooling system service.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. Additional underside photographs can be seen in the gallery below.
The window sticker indicates initial delivery to Newport Beach Cars, Inc. and lists standard and optional equipment as well as a total price of $128,875.
