The Z8 was designed by Henrik Fisker with styling cues from the 1950s 507 roadster and 1997 Z07 concept car. This example is finished in Schwarz 2 (668) and features xenon headlights, neon tail lights, bright fender vents with BMW roundels, chrome mirror caps and door handle trim, and elongated kidney grilles with integrated fog lamps. The seller notes evidence of refinishing on the left-front fender, as well as an imperfection that was touched-up on the hood near the right headlight.
Split-spoke 18″ forged wheels wear Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tires measuring 245/45 up front and 275/40 out back, and standard equipment includes aluminum suspension components, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and All-Season Traction (AST). The body-colored removable hardtop comes with a fitted top cover and a top storage stand as well as a snap-in wind deflector that fits between the twin roll hoops.
Heated and power-adjustable seats are trimmed in black Nappa leather that extends to the lower dashboard and center console. Black trim and aluminum accents are found throughout the cabin, and black carpets are protected by matching floor mats. The factory stereo is concealed behind a door in the center stack, and it is paired with a six-disc CD changer is mounted behind the passenger seat and a Harman Kardon sound system. The hard top also features an anthracite headliner.
The banjo-spoke steering wheel features black and silver trim along with a leather-wrapped rim, and the central instrument panel houses an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 155-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and an odometer showing just over 6,100 miles. Fewer than 500 miles have been added under current ownership since 2015.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 was shared with the contemporary E39 M5 and produced 394 horsepower with 368 lb-ft of torque from the factory. The oil was most recently changed in 2020.
