Amenities include a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, and a Mach 460 audio system with an in-dash six-disc CD changer.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames white-dial instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, boost pressure, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 950 miles.
The 4.6-liter DOHC V8 is equipped with an Eaton Roots-type supercharger as well as a stainless-steel exhaust system and was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. A plaque displaying the stamped signatures of the engine builders is affixed to the passenger-side valve cover. The battery was replaced in preparation for the sale, per the selling dealer.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Downtown Ford of Canton, Ohio, along with factory colors, equipment, and a total MSRP of $39,405. Manufacturer’s literature and two keys with fobs are also included in the sale.
