The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Natural Grey leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Features include a remote six-disc CD changer, the Bose High End Sound Package, a Becker-Porsche CDR23 stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control. A Numeric Racing short-shift kit and a Rennline shifter knob have been installed. Signs of wear can be seen on the outer driver’s seat bolster.
A serialized plaque located on the center console identifies this as #525 in the 40 Jahre limited edition.
Instrumentation is accented by silver rings, and the digital odometer indicates 30k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.6-liter M96/03S flat-six is equipped with the X51 Powerkit, which added revised intake and exhaust manifolds, modified camshaft profiles, and improved cooling. Modifications include a Fabspeed ECU tune, a silicon intake tube, a 997 GT3-specification throttle body, an IPD intake plenum, Fabspeed ceramic-coated headers, and a BMC air filter. The cross-pipe exhaust system features Fister mufflers. The IMS bearing was replaced in November 2019 using components from LN Engineering, and the spark plugs were changed at that time.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch was replaced in November 2019, and an aluminum flywheel has been installed.
