Finished from the factory in dark green, the car was refinished in Krypton Green during previous ownership and features a removable black hardtop. Additional exterior details includes a front tow hook, hood vents, smoked taillights, a black alloy fuel-filler cap, a GRP rear diffuser, and a carbon-fiber front spoiler and side air scoops. The Carfax report lists an accident in January 2011 that resulted in “minor damage” to the front of the vehicle.
Forged 16″ and 17″ wheels were reportedly powder-coated black during current ownership and are mounted with 175/55 front and 225/45 rear Yokohama Advanced tires that show date codes from 2020 and 2021. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled discs with Lotus-branded calipers up front.
The cabin features fixed-back seats trimmed in black leather with a matching dashboard and carpeting, and aftermarket carbon-fiber trim has been added to the door panels, gauge cluster housing, and dash. An aftermarket roll cage has been installed, and amenities include air conditioning, power windows, push-button start, and a Kenwood AM/FM CD stereo. The seller notes that the factory alarm system has been disabled.
A removable Alcantara-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and an LCD information screen. The digital odometer indicates under 35k miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership.
The mid-mounted Toyota-sourced 1.8-liter 2ZZ-GE inline-four was fitted with a Katana supercharger during previous ownership. Service carried out in October 2020 reportedly included repairing an oil leak. An oil change is said to have been performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toyota C64 six-speed manual transaxle, and the car is equipped with an aftermarket exhaust system. Service carried out in October 2020 included installation of a billet flywheel and replacement of the clutch and release bearing. Additional underbody photos are available in the gallery below.
