Black 19″ Vorsteiner wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires. The removed wheels have been refinished and are included in the sale. GT3-specification shocks have been installed.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats upholstered in black leather. Features include the Sport Chrono Package, self-dimming mirrors, driver-seat memory settings, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. A Function-First short-shift kit and an aluminum shifter knob have been installed. Wear is noted on portions of the center console, driver’s door handle, and window switches.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 134k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership.
The M97 flat-six was rebuilt by LN Engineering starting in June 2015 to correct bore scoring, and it features JE Pistons, Nikasil cylinder liners, and a displacement of 4.0 liters. An updated IMS-bearing assembly was also installed at that time, and related invoices are shown in the gallery below. Other changes include an aftermarket intake tube and a BMC air filter. Engine belts were replaced in May 2020 along with the air oil separator, and the spark plugs were changed in June 2022. An oil leak is noted from the right-side camshaft solenoids.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Moisture is noted towards the front of the transaxle.
Photographs in the gallery below depict various parts of the engine rebuild process.
