Forged aluminum 17″ dual-beadlock wheels are mounted with 37×12.50″ Goodyear Wrangler tires that were installed in February 2019. The truck is equipped with four inboard 12″ disc brakes and a central tire inflation system which allows the tire pressure to be changed via a control on the dashboard. The CTIS air valves were replaced in 2017 and service in 2022 included replacing the steering gear and changing the power steering fluid.
The cabin features front and rear bucket seats upholstered in two-tone black and brown leather along with color-coordinated door panels, carpets, and silver trim. Equipment includes heated front seats, air conditioning, power accessories, an AM/FM stereo with a CD changer, and ceiling-mounted Monsoon speakers. The rear passenger area features separate audio controls as well as dual headphone jacks. The left-front window regulator was replaced in January 2022. The headliner is sagging.
The steering wheel is wrapped in two-tone leather and sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A tire pressure gauge and a control panel for the onboard inflation system are situated beside the stereo. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 56k of which were added during current ownership.
The 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 was rated at 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque when new and is equipped with dual fuel tanks. The glow plug control module was replaced in 2016 and a new geared engine fan was installed in 2017. Service during current ownership included replacing the mass air flow sensor and thermostats.
Power is sent to all four wheels through an Allison five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, locking differentials, and portal axles with helical-cut gears. Service during current ownership included changing the transmission fluid, replacing the speed sensor, resealing the front and rear differential covers, and replacing the transfer case cooling hoses.
