Multi-spoke 18″ and 19″ chrome aluminum wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires measuring 275/35 up front and 325/30 out back. Braking is handled by six- and four-piston calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The car is equipped with active handling and traction control systems.
The cabin features heated bucket seats trimmed in Ebony leather with perforated inserts and Z06 embroidery on the headrests. The 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group added memory settings, auto-dimming mirrors, a power-adjustable steering column, a Bose sound system, Homelink, side airbags, and a cargo net. Z06-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a head-up display, navigation, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, and a CD stereo with a touchscreen infotainment system.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, all of which were added during current ownership.
The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 features a dry-sump lubrication system and was factory rated at 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential with a 3.42:1 rear ratio. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
