The cabin features sport bucket seats upholstered in black leather with embossed Shelby Cobra logos on the backrests. The optional GT500 Premier Trim Package added a stitched dashboard, auto-dimming mirrors, and aluminum pedals.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A MagnaFlow exhaust system has been fitted.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Bob Baker Ford Mission Valley of San Diego, California, along with standard and optional equipment and a total MSRP of $45,060.
