Staggered-width 18″ SVT wheels with a machined finish are wrapped in 255/65 front and 285/65 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires with production date codes from 2007. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with Brembo front calipers, and the car is equipped with an SVT-tuned suspension.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather, and embossed Shelby Cobra insignias accent the backrests of the front sport bucket seats. Appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Shaker 500 sound system, and a CD stereo. Protective plastic coverings are in place throughout the cabin, and a manufacturer’s recall for a replacement passenger airbag was completed in 2018.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 8 miles.
The supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. A plaque affixed to the driver-side valve cover indicates that the engine was assembled on the “Niche-Line” at Ford’s Romeo, Michigan, engine plant, and it bears the engraved signatures of the engine builders.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The included window sticker lists initial delivery to Rottet Motors of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total MSRP of $43,570. Manufacturer’s literature and the uninstalled antenna will also accompany the car.
