Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The cabin features heated and adaptive power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Carrera Red Natural leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include driver-seat memory settings, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system has been revised with the installation of Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port, and a rearview camera. Other equipment includes carbon-fiber trim, a leather-wrapped steering column, and a body color-painted center console and front seatbacks.
The carbon-fiber- and leather-rimmed steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 33k miles, approximately 15k of which were added under current ownership. The selling dealer notes an illuminated SRS warning light on the dashboard.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 ft-lb.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle.
