The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The cabin features heated adaptive sports seats upholstered in two-tone Carrera Red and black natural leather and body-color seat backs along with matching red leather that extends to the dashboard, door panels, steering column, and sun visors. Interior amenities include carbon-fiber trim, auto-dimming mirrors, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather- and carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 19k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 lb-ft.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. The car is also equipped with a mechanically locking rear differential.
