The 997 Targa 4 features a sliding glass roof panel, wider rear bodywork, and a reflective strip between the taillights when compared to the standard Carrera. This example is finished in Macadamia Metallic and is equipped with bi-xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, self-dimming mirrors, rear parking sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual polished exhaust outlets. The 19” Carrera S II wheels feature colored Porsche crests and are wrapped in Nitto Invo tires with 2014 date codes. The car features a MacPherson strut front suspension with a multi-link LSA rear setup as well as front and rear stabilizer bars. The brakes are said to have been serviced in August 2022 when the brake fluid was changed.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front comfort seats upholstered in Cocoa leather. Amenities include driver-seat memory settings, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. The left-side driver-seat bolster is worn.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 63k miles, approximately 46k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.6-liter flat-six features VarioCam Plus variable valve timing and was factory rated at 345 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the fuel system was drained after the car was removed from storage in August 2022, and additional work at that time reportedly included changing the engine oil, coolant, water pump, and battery.
Power is routed to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle.
