Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.2 Turbo to overboost temporarily, increasing peak rated torque. Service under current ownership is said to have included oil changes and replacement of the spark plugs and battery.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The car is also equipped with a mechanically locking rear differential and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV).
