The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic and features a power sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rear window wiper, side air intakes, and flared quarter panels. Paint protection film has been applied in front of the side intakes, and a chip is visible on the driver’s rocker panel.
The 19″ RS Spyder center-locking wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 15″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD).
The heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Cocoa Special leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Coco-style floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include auto-dimming mirrors, wood trim, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames white-dial instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 36k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six features direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, and dynamic engine mounts. It was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The 997 Turbo S featured Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanically locking rear differential as standard.
