This example has been fitted with a topographic-style vinyl graphic on the hood, along with a Raptor Liner-coated Expedition One rear bumper, DB Customz grille, Bushwacker wheel arch flares, and RESZ Fab front bumper and rock sliders. Additional exterior modifications include the following components:
The Carfax report lists an accident with another motor vehicle in May 2013 that resulted in “disabling damage” to the left front corner, and the seller states that one of the fenders and front bumper were replaced as a result. A dent is visible on the driver’s door.
Icon Compression 17×9” alloy wheels are wrapped in 315/70 General Grabber AT/X tires, and a matching spare is mounted out back. Braking is handled by anti-lock four wheel discs and the truck is equipped with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC). The parking brake shoes were replaced in 2020 and the seller states the front lower control arms were rebuilt in February 2022 and an alignment was performed in November. The sway bars have been removed and the suspension has reportedly been modified with the following components:
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal and Green cloth. A Trail Teams Edition emblem is located on the passenger side of the dashboard and body-color trim accents the center stack and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, a Midland MXT500 two-way radio, a WeBoost Cellular signal booster, a Bantam sPod power distribution controller, an OrangeBoxx center console storage panel, cruise control, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo with JL Audio speakers.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A dash-mounted auxiliary gauge pod houses a compass, a thermometer, and an inclinometer. The seller notes there are no sensors in the tires and the tire pressure monitoring system light remains illuminated. The digital odometer indicates 124k miles, approximately 20k of which were added by the seller.
The rear bench has been removed in lieu of a slide-out drawer system and a refrigerator. Storage racks are mounted on both cargo area side panels. The removed rear bench is included in the sale.
The 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. An ARB air compressor and a Viair one-gallon tank are mounted in the engine bay along with a solar charge controller and an Odyssey Group 31 AGM battery, while the washer fluid reservoir has been relocated to a higher position. The engine and cabin air filters were replaced and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, an electronic-locking rear differential, and an ARB air-activated locking front differential. The front and rear differentials are said to be equipped with Nitro 4.56:1 ratio gearing and Lotus Development CV axles have been installed up front. The rear pinion seal was reportedly replaced in June 2022, and the underside was refinished in July 2022. The differential fluids were changed in preparation for the sale. Underside photos taken prior to and during the undercoating process are viewable in the gallery below.
The window sticker lists original delivery to Sunnyside Toyota of North Olmsted, Ohio, along with standard and optional equipment and a total price of $35,223.
