Black-finished 19″ alloy wheels with polished lips are wrapped in 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. The Boss 302 features electric power steering, five-way adjustable dampers, unique front and rear coil springs, and a revised rear sway bar and bushings when compared with the GT. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with four-piston Brembo calipers up front.
The cabin features manually adjustable Recaro bucket seats trimmed in Charcoal Black cloth with “Boss 302” embroidery on the seat backs. Additional equipment includes metal-look dashboard trim, air conditioning, cruise control, Boss 302-branded floor mats, power windows and mirrors, and an AM/FM/CD stereo linked to aftermarket Pioneer speakers. Fabric sealant was applied to the upholstery in 2011 and the driver and passenger airbag modules were replaced under recall in 2017 and 2019, respectively. The removed factory speakers are included in the sale along with a red TracKey, which the seller states has not been programmed.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates approximately 6k miles.
The naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter Road Runner V8 features a forged rotating assembly, CNC ported cylinder heads, and revised camshafts for a factory-rated output of 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. A strut tower brace spans the engine bay, and a plaque affixed to the intake manifold denotes this example as #323 built for the model year. An oil change was performed in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and an optional 3.73:1 Torsen helical limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
Four 18″ wheels mounted with 255/45 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 winter tires accompany the car.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Bill Pierre Ford of Seattle, Washington, along with factory colors, options, and a total MSRP of $43,465.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with a front license plate mount, Boss 302 memorabilia, a car cover, a tire pressure monitoring system trigger tool, and two keys.
