The Black Series features a wider front and rear track, stiffer springs, larger anti-roll bars, adjustable spring perches, and two-way adjustable dampers. The AMG Performance Braking System features red-finish AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats trimmed in black MB-Tex with Dinamica inserts in addition to red stitching, which extends to the center armrest and door panels. The 6.2-liter M156 V8 features a recalibrated ECU, a lightened crankshaft, and forged pistons and connecting rods. Output was rated at 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Mercedes-Benz of Littleton in Colorado, along with factory colors, equipment, options, and a total retail price of $125,825.
