The 991.1 Carrera 4S features widened rear bodywork compared to the standard Carrera along with an illuminated light bar between the taillights. This example is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic and features bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) as well as fog lights, an electric sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, tinted windows, clear LED taillights, power-folding mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The Carfax report lists a sideswipe collision in July 2017 resulting in “minor damage” to the left side, front, and rear of the vehicle. Paint protection film has been applied to the exterior, and the seller reports peeling at the edges of the film. Blemishes are visible around the headlights and on the front bumper cover.
The 20″ Carrera Classic alloy wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires that show a combination of 2015 and 2016 date codes. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded calipers over ventilated discs, and the car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
The cabin features climatized 18-way power-adjustable adaptive sport seats with Porsche crests debossed on the headrests. Additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, silver trim accents, Porsche-branded floor mats, yellow seat belts, a dash-mounted chronograph, PCM with navigation, and a Burmester sound system. The seller notes raised areas at the top edges of the door panels. The trunk struts were reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.
A flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel with Alcantara inserts, red stitching, and a yellow centering stripe fronts a central tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, a multifunction LCD screen, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles, approximately 12k of which were added during current ownership.
The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Service in August 2020 involved the replacement of the spark plugs and air filter.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle and a limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring. An aftermarket Akrapovič exhaust system has been installed. The transmission fluid was flushed in August 2020.
Manufacturer’s literature, Porsche-branded rubber floor mats, and partial service records are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report and lists history in Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Ohio. Manufacturer voluntary service actions for retrofitting a heat shield and replacing a tank leak diagnosis module are noted along with a recall for reprogramming the ECU and TCU in May 2020 and October 2021 entries, respectively.
