The 4S features wider bodywork compared to a standard 991 Carrera along with an illuminated light bar between the taillights. This example is finished in Black and features a power-retractable black targa top that stows under the rear glass. Additional exterior details include bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), front and rear parking sensors, LED taillights, and a speed-activated rear spoiler.
Carrera Classic 20″ alloy wheels are mounted with P Zero tires measuring 245/35 up front and 305/30 at the rear. Braking is handled by red-painted Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated discs. The 4S came standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which lowered the ride height by 10mm.
The cabin houses heated and ventilated front seats trimmed in Luxor Beige leather upholstery that are accompanied by a two-tone black and beige dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior amenities include Porsche Entry and Drive, Porsche Communication Management, navigation, a back-up camera, a Bose sound system, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as a 200-mph speedometer and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A Sport Chrono stopwatch with a white dial is mounted atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles, all of which were added by the seller.
The 3.8-liter flat-six was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in November 2022, at which time some wiring components were repaired.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle and an electronic limited-slip rear differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus. The car is equipped with an optional Sport Exhaust System. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Carlsen Porsche of Redwood, California, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total MSRP of $140,145.
