The 650S utilizes a carbon-fiber chassis and an aluminum rear subframe, and this example left the factory finished in Storm Grey and received a removable vinyl Gulf-livery wrap under current ownership. Exterior details include a front splitter, a rear diffuser, single-hinge dihedral doors, LED lighting, carbon-fiber trim, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and an active rear wing that doubles as an air brake. The seller states that the car was involved in a single-vehicle accident in December 2021, hydroplaning into a lane-dividing barrier. Multiple body panels and components on the left side of the car were subsequently replaced, including the door, front fender, and carbon blade. An invoice detailing the work can be viewed in the gallery below.
Forged 19″ and 20″ five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires that were mounted in February 2023. Stopping power is provided by McLaren-branded calipers mounted over carbon-ceramic discs, and this example is optioned with a vehicle-lift system. The left-side wheels were replaced in February 2022, and the brake pads were changed the following September. Scratches on the left-front wheel are depicted in the gallery.
The heated and power-adjustable bucket seats are upholstered in Saddle Tan leather with embossed McLaren headrest logos, and matching leather covers the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Carbon fiber accents the center stack, door panels, and doorsills, and additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a push-button starter, and touchscreen infotainment with navigation and a Meridian sound system. Seatbelt assembly and rearview mirror replacement were carried out in September 2022.
The flat-bottom steering wheel is trimmed in carbon fiber and leather, and it frames a central 9k-rpm tachometer with an inset digital speedometer as well as two flanking digital displays. The digital odometer indicates 11k miles, approximately 3,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 was factory rated at 641 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The oil was most recently changed in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Texas, and North Carolina.
