The AMG GT features an aluminum spaceframe with aluminum bodywork and a magnesium hood. This example is finished in Designo Selenite Grey Metallic and is equipped with a panoramic glass roof panel, Parktronic sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual polished exhaust outlets, and the AMG Silver Chrome Package, which adds a silver-chrome front air dam splitter, stainless-steel side window trim, and a diamond-block front grille with chrome-tipped pins. A ceramic coating has reportedly been applied to the exterior. Scrapes on the underside of the front spoiler are shown in the gallery below.
Staggered-diameter 19″ and 20″ forged AMG wheels are finished in black with silver accents and wear 265/35 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires showing 2020 and 2021 date codes. The car is equipped with an adjustable suspension, and stopping power is provided by red-finished AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at each corner.
The heated and power-adjustable AMG performance seats are trimmed in black Exclusive leather that extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Silver chrome and carbon-fiber trim accents the center console and vents, and additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a carbon-fiber rear-cabin crossbar, Distronic Pro adaptive cruise control, Keyless-GO, AMG-branded floor mats, COMAND infotainment with navigation, satellite radio, a Burmester surround sound system, and the Lane Tracking Package, which adds blind spot and lane keeping assistance. The infotainment display was replaced in June 2021 according to an entry on the Carfax report.
The multifunction AMG Performance steering wheel is trimmed with synthetic suede and frames a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a configurable central display. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 4k of which were added during current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter M178 V8 features dry-sump lubrication, a “hot inside V” turbo setup, and a switchable exhaust system. The optional AMG Dynamic Plus Package adds a widened power band and dynamic engine and drivetrain mounts. The engine oil was changed during a Mercedes-Benz “B” service in April 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transaxle and an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential.
An AMG-branded car cover is included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and two remote keys.
